Madison L. Surry

Growing up in a small town in rural Virginia, Madison Surry developed a strong appreciation for community and connection. She attended Virginia Tech, where she graduated cum laude with dual degrees in Communication Studies and Theatre Arts with a performance concentration. A proud Hokie, Madison credits her background in communication and advocacy with helping shape the skills she now brings to the practice of family law.

Madison later moved to Raleigh to attend Campbell University School of Law. During law school, she was a member of the Moot Court Team and competed in several national advocacy competitions, including two focused specifically on family law. She further developed her courtroom and advocacy skills through the Academy of the Advocate program in St Andrews, hosted through Baylor Law School, where she studied the “School of the Trial,” an intensive program dedicated to trial advocacy.

Madison is passionate about helping clients navigate some of the most difficult and emotional periods of their lives. She strives to provide compassionate support, clear communication, and strong advocacy while helping families move forward with confidence and stability.

Outside of the office, Madison enjoys spending time with her fiancé, Jack, their chocolate lab, Whiskey, relaxing at beautiful Lake Gaston with family and friends, and of course, cheering on the Hokies!
