Kimberly A. Wallis

About
Kimberly (Kim) Wallis brings over 25 years of legal expertise and knowledge to her practice. She is a Board Certified Specialist in Family Law and has experience managing an array of family law matters from negotiating settlements to litigating complex equitable distribution and custody cases. Prior to devoting her career to family law, Kim served as a Law Clerk for the North Carolina Court of Appeals.
Kim’s clients are often professionals and business owners who appreciate her knowledge and understanding of business valuations. Kim also takes a particular interest in representing parents whose focus has been raising a family; having experienced her own career interruption to care for her two boys. Following COVID, Kim has managed an increasing number of cases involving substance issues and/or mental health concerns and in those cases, she is focused on treatment and safety.
Kim understands the emotional and financial upheaval that a separation and divorce can have and focuses on formulating and executing a strategy consistent with each client’s unique needs and goals without unnecessary acrimony or expense.
